I don't ever recall seeing fenders that twisted and out of shape before. Almost looks as though they hung everything on it with zip ties! Even then I think you could get stuff straighter! LOL

I agree.... it would be a good candidate to do a frame off, providing it's all legit.

X2! And if so I will definitely be putting my new factory 4 speed stage 1 up for sale at a much higher price!

    Current bid:US $19,100.00
    Reserve not met

    Well Gary,

    Glad you asked.

    She was still a bargain @ $19,099.99. But @ $19,100.00, I am not so certain anymore.

For just another 10k, I could possibly find a more rusted, more incomplete, more incorrect, and less likely to run MOPAR

Like I keep hearing people say...

    "They're still out there"

Point being, overpriced but not Mopar stupid

I know yall are bashing this car big time, but this 23 year old would almost kill for a car like that! Fix the goofy mounting on that spoiler and I would be grinning ear to ear driving down the road!

We are bashing it, but most of us would love to have it, just not at the current price, and we all wish it was in a little better shape. Plus, bashing it might keep the bidding lower, in case one of us actually wants it (not me), lol! :eek2:

3 hours and 1 penny away from selling. Seller wants 20k I just called.
He bid it up to 19,999.99. Who would bid it up to that number ?

Johnathan asked me what I would pay for it(like I was interested or something ?), and I told him I would pay exactly what he paid for it. $8500 not a penny more.

Phone went dead after that. :TU:

I haven't seen anyone say "I wouldn't want that car." Its just the price. I don't know anyone on here that will give me $20 for a five dollar bill. If they would, I have a wallet full of $5s. It is what it is. At the right price, with the right amount of time effort and money sunk into it, It'd be beautiful.:beer

Drivers seat bottom is a perfect example of what can happen if one consumes too much baked beans!! Just when I was starting to think that my Skylark was beginning to look a bit rough around the edges, you guys bring this thing up.....So I pulled the cover off mine and it looks "Like New" again. :)

Man that thing got rode hard and put away wet, lotsa times. All that's missing is all the empty beer cans stuffed under the seat.

Looks like they removed the carpet to find all the forgotten coke stashes.

I suppose if I had that car in my late teens and early 20's it would be as beat as that poor thing, and it DEF would not have the original motor.

Supposedly sold for $18,850 this time around, seems like strong money for a non numbers car needing as much work as this one does.
