Good lord, what a mess painted with a roller looks like and I honestly don't see how they managed to mount the spoiler like that

I looked at the ebay photos today. Never saw a car this so messed up after expecting so much by the title !!

Another car with unpainted hood trim and bezels! :pp

Looks like they mounted the spoiler ends to the bumper and not to the fender

"CARPETS WERE REMOVED TO SHOW NO RUST"

Temperature control lever was removed to show slot

Headliner removed to show rusty roof

Stainless trim removed to illustrate previous bodywork

Radio discarded to view more of the slap wore out dash

Stainless door panel trim removed to highlight warped door panels

Remote mirror control tossed for ventilation

Rubber components pitched to view bent bumpers

Ram Air foams seals "filed" to facilitate ram air cleaner inspection

A/C box WAS in the way of seeing the firewall

Have to admit, I enjoyed the video of him going thru the gears from the interior...

Oh of course ha, you'd have to arms like an ape to be able to do anything from the front of the car with the spoiler all up in your junk. And to think somebody stood back and said "that's gotta be how it goes" ha

I just laughed out loud at both of these posts. That's some funny stuff

Jason, I didn't recognize the missing finishes because I couldn't get past the huge gap between the headlight door and the left front fender.

I think there maybe room to tuck another spoiler in there.

    Yikes!
Painted hood hinges just don't look right but ,that's the least of the worries here.
Was 72 stage1 an egr motor? With all the Kenne-Bell parts I was expecting an S-divider intake at least.
Hope someone can save it, might need a little CPR but doable.
Seems to have a little more rust than I would of expected for sitting 35 years in Washington state barn

What scares me is the sloppy aspects/issues you can't see. If what is visible is any indication, this thing is probably hiding some scary secrets. Like an onion, every layer you peel back would make you cry more. Just speculation on my part however. There's just alot of issues on the surface, usually in these cases its what you can't see is worse.

You can't polish a turd or put lipstick on a pig proven once again. Tom

Looks like they tried to use lipstick when they decided to color code the VIN. :Dou:

Lots of orange peel in the paint job. The hood scoops are the correct color (black). All Fremont 72 cars were black. The EGR value was added on the 72 California emissions for 455. I have a Fremont built car. I got to agree, a lot of hidden problems in that car.

Two things for me that are hard to believe about this car.

    1) That there are actually real bidders at $18,700

    2) that the reserve is not meet at $18,700.

I wonder how long it would take to straighten out all of that front end...

I'm looking for the "like" button for these two comments. If this turd roller actually sells, and I mean exchange of money for car and title, for any where near 20k, I'm putting the wife's Stage 1 up for sale for 30-35k.
