    Thought I'd add...

The N-25 is in BOTH 71 assembly manuals I have. One is an early year copy, the other is late model year.:TU: :bglasses:

But then again, if you read it on the internet, then it has to be correct.

Andrew if you look at the ebay add, he evens has a copy of the wholesale car form on it for 71. It shows it as sales code E6 for the N25 option.

Yes it did exist for 71 and 72.

There was a discussion, not long ago, @ George N.'s site. Reference were the the body seams behind the rear window, separating the filler piece from the quarters.
Not sure what the outcome was, but the car either has no seams or they have been filled.

It is sure a nice color combo. Details always bug me though like why not thread the drivers side hood bumper up another 1/8" and get it to line up with the fender? Whats with the OK on the firewall?? And the rear bumper support pieces that sit on the aft ledge and help support the bumper appear to be missing (i have extras if anyone buys the car!)..also the black painted EVERYTHING underneath is horrible. Wish people wouldn't do that. The weatherstripping not being replaced on fresh paint alos bugs me.

With that said, and nit picking it is, plus the comments above in the thread, it is a desirable car and great combination, I'd look at it in person. It would be a great project to build.

And yes, you can all nit pick my ragtop when done, it won't be perfect either.

That is a very nice looking GS for sale.
It is tough to judge color shading in this type of format. I am pretty sure that the color of this car does not accurately represent the original Lime mist (code 43).
I have unoxidized pieces of an original Lime mist car and the color of the car pictured is not accurate to code 43. Also the chrome appears to be trivalent and not true to the original hexavalent chrome.
N-25 for 71 is correct and the black background center wheel caps are incorrect. A pearl/silvery white background is correct for 71. I would take a good hard look at the drivers side quarter panel because the detail lines look a little off - common to repro. panels.
It looks as if the owner of this GS has put a lot of effort into the car and I hope he does well with it.

The seams below the rear window are supposed to be filled on a convertible. Thew hardtops are not filled. Why? I dont have the answer, but every convertible Ive owned and every one Ive seen are filled

Looks to be going quite high. Do you think the photos taken in such a good looking shop help?

OK, Listen. I have seen this car at Carlisle (GM-NATS), it's a nice looking car, but the paint is messed up near the rear window, Plus look at the location of the car, and the tags it has on it!
Don't get me wrong, it's still a Nice car.
Here are some pictures of it from Carlisle.

I don't like not knowing who you are bidding against. My experience is that the seller will run the price up to the max bid and you are bidding against yourself. Bothers me :Do No:

    Steve,
The seams are visible on a coupe and filled on a convertible.

He must have gotten an offer he couldn't refuse, I see he ended the auction early at $29,500. Jea, you have anything to do with this?????????
