Well, life and priorities have changed for me so I have made the decision to part ways with my prized GSX. I stuggled with this decision, but things being what they are, I think it's best. Al- I'm really sorry to hear that you have to do this. I know there's quite a story behind that car and it coming in and out of your life already. I hope it goes to a good home and finds its way once again back into your hands somewhere down the road.

Thanks guys, if I could have afforded to, I would have offered it to you V8 Board members first, but recent developments in my family's lives require I sell it the E-Bay way. I am currently high bidder. The interesting thing is that I may have to let go three very nice Buicks if I can win it. Then three other people would be happy too... My cars are very nice machines if I do say so myself. And if you want it, bid it up to the max you want it for. Back when there was a controversy about discussion on for sale threads I said that I believe ebay is wide open fair game and I still believe that. Al deserves the best he can get from this nice car. Lets make sure he gets it.

Time to come out of the closet. I bought Al's car. I promise to take good care of it and maintain it properly. I'll be shipping it to Chicago area. Same with Chris's 71GS455 4spd convert that I recently bought. I'm working with a long time friend of mine who works at the Daily Herald to run a Buick Muscle Cars article featuring my cars in Illinois. There's the 68GS400 4spd 17K miles, 70GSX (Al's), 71GS455 Convert 4spd (Chris's) and the 72GS455 Stage 1 (Gary's). I'm just missing a 69 for a straight flush. I promise to take good care of Al's car.
Thanks Duane. I feel like I just got promoted to Vice President or something. I will serve my fellow Buick friends well, and hope to take it to some events sometime so it's not hidden away in the garage all the time.
Congratulations, Mike, that's a beautiful car that I know Al put a lot of love into. I'm glad it's going to someone that's one of the Buick faithful, and not some anonymous collector somewhere.
Yep Well, I can't tell you guys how good it feels to know that a V8 Board member will be getting my car, at least I'll be able to see it again. Al, I'm privileged to have it. Sorry to see you sell, but if it had to be somebody else with it I couldn't imagine anyone else but me. Kind of strange maybe. But I've been watching that car ever since it was on George's site about six or seven years ago now. I can count on my fingers on one hand how many White GSX455 4spds I've ever seen. Yours will make two that I can remember. I'm really pumped up about it.
