Our loss is Kerry's gain. No more pain, no more disease process'. Won't make his family miss him any less though. We will continue to pray for your family.

Well said. And I agree. And I also will pray for Kerry's family.

I have a feeling Kerry is right now being held in Gods arms and God is comforting him. And everything is "alright" with Kerry now.

    Michael,
I own 3 mustangs ranging from 1968 to 2007. I have been a Mustang fan since I was in highschool. I'd be happy to be a sounding board for what you've done and what you want to do on your cars. My phone is on an earlier post in this thread, feel free to call or text.

I had hoped that things were not going to turn out this way, I will miss Kerry greatly but he is in a better place now. His family has been great and will honor the deal that Kerry and I had set up. I have started going over my list of people that spoke up for some of the parts I'm selling from the package. Michael has alot of responsibility on him all the sudden, but he has a great family that is working together. I will ask that people do not contact the family regarding the cars and parts, you can contact me here on the board or call me @ 1-250-474-0622 for any questions. The parts will be shipped from IL. Thank-you.... Chris Skaling

Boy how things have changed. A family member has decided that the deal Kerry and I had, that was posted here in a earlier post by Kerry him self and comfirmed by Kerry him self to other board members is OFF and the stuff will go to e-bay. I would like to say that my problem is not with Michael, and I want to thank him for his afforts to honor his uncles wishes. Chris Skaling

That's sad to hear Kerry's wishes being disrespected.

It is a shame to lose someone in the community like that. It is an even greater shame that the community he supported and spent time with is not where his collected treasures, which would be most gratefully appreciated and used to honor his name, will be distributed.

I did not know Kerry personally but I felt his anguish when I read his first post several months ago about his illness and inability to enjoy his projects. I know I fear the day when I will be too old or otherwise incapable of enjoying Buicks.

(tongue in cheek eulogy - Don't mean to offend anyone)

May he race for eternity in the right hand lane of God's drag strip, who must have a stable of cars that makes Leno and Reggie Jackson combined look like Hot Wheels collectors, where every stop light is a full on pro tree, where it never rains and you never need to take the slicks off and leaded 110 octane gasoline is good for the environment!

    Amen

That will most likely come bask to bite them in the a$$. I experienced the same situation a few months ago when a close friend with a car collection died. It's a pretty tough pill to swallow.

I am starting to list some of these parts forsale here in the parts forsale section, how ever if someone is interest in the regal please PM me with a combo of parts/car there is so many ways I can sell the regal because of all the parts Kerry has for this car but my goal is to sell it as complete as possible so we all can see this car evolve into something close to Kerry's vision. TuBBed does have first dibs on it just so everyone knows he is first in line. Allen (izanurse) is first inline for the stage 2 heads, headers, XFI injection system and fuel system. I am keeping the 469 short block and the convert, if I change my mind on the convert then I will pass it on to Gary P. Thank you to Gary for all is efforts to put together a deal, he is one hell of a nice guy. If anyone needs to contact me here is my # 1-250-474-0622 parts and regal are still located in Decatur IL and will make arangments to ship or pick-up from there.. Chris

    Chris,
I was very sorry to learn about Kerry and kind of feel like a vulture looking for a deal, but I would be interested in stage 2 heads and headers after Allen. Thanks

Up-date, I have been chatting alot with Kerry's Mom Betty and she is a sweat heart and she seems to be a strong lady that has alot of faith in God. At first the car things were pretty messed up, but everyone is on the same page now. How Kerry made it as far as he did with his cars etc and his failing health is amazing, he was a inspiration to many that knew him. Life is too short. Chris

I just got back from IL. It was nice to finally put faces to the voices I have been dealing with the past few months. Kerrys Mom (Betty) is as nice as they come, same with Kerry's sister Beth and her husband Mike. They are all top shelf! I also got to meet some great V8buick board members while I was there but I will start another thread with a bunch of pics later on. First pic is Betty, Beth and Mike. Next is a couple of the convert before I tucked it away and the last one is a pic of Kerry. Your cars and parts are safe and in good hands now.... R.I.P my friend :TU: Chris
