Hi Bill, Please let me know if you are still interested in the car. I am ready to buy it if you don't.
Car was still available as of last week. Bill was in line first and waiting for pics from the seller to decide if he is interested.
I am just wondering, why the CD etc, the owner should be able to e-mail the same pic's instead of holding up a line up of people with cash in hand. The rules state 48 hrs as being reasonable? its been 7 days. I saw it when first posted and no one had got inline yet, its been bugging me ever since. I wish I would have jumped on it thenou: I am pretty sure its not going to make it to me but lets get the show on the road. This thing would be on a car hauler heading east by now had I pulled the trigger 7 days ago :spank: my bad!
HUH??? The 48 hour suggestion is the time frame the seller should give the potential buyer to contact him after placing himself "in line". It is not the time frame to complete a deal. There are no time frames placed on the SELLER! It is his ad, his car for sale, he can take as long as he wants to sell it. If people don't want to to wait for the SELLER, they should get out of line. RULES: We suggest 48 hours as an acceptable time period to allow interested parties (BUYER) to contact you (SELLER) privately. 4.If the first user who responds to your ad does not complete the sale, you move onto the second person who responded, and so on and so forth down the list, until the item is sold. This list is dictated soley by the public replies to your ad.
Chris, I am only wondering what the status is and if its still for sale. With all the back door deals that have been going on and it seems like the thread has stalled after 7 days. I have also seen people jump on a sale and then hold things up while they work on the side lines putting a quick flip together, I am sure you have seen that happen before haven't you? I am only wanting to know where things are at. I think I am totally with in the rules for asking, but you might want to brush up on these rules your self: "If you want to comment on something, make your own new post about it, in the Bench, or other appropriate forum. Reasonable requests for more pictures, info, or other sale related communication is still allowed. The moderators have been instructed to immediately delete any post that even hints of anything other than straightforward buying/selling discussion. Offenders of this new policy risk disciplinary action" Cash in hand, others in line are also wondering what the status is. Sorry if I offended anyoneo No:
I have not received pictures, but I am going to pass, for other reasons, sorry for any delays I caused, not sure why the delay in getting pictures to people, thanks Bill.
