I have decided to throw this up for sale,if it sells O.k,if not O.K to,no biggie.I'm just not using as much as I thought I would,so if someone is looking for a turn key car to take down the track and run 11's and drive on the street as well with all working lights, blinkers, horn, radio, and even the heater and wipers, here it is.

    The car is a 69 Special,orig a straight six car,lime mist poly,(currently primer).Made in Canada car.
    455 .040 over,9.8:1 CR,T/A 113 cam,T/A intake,T/A headers,stock heads w/SS valves,stock rockers,brand new custom Quickfuel carb,2'' HVH spacer,HEI w/pertronix kit,T/A valve covers,crank scraper,SFI flexplate,high torque mini starter,3'' exhaust w/flows.
    TH400, 3,800 convertor,driveshaft loop,Dennys 3 1/2'' driveshaft,aftermarket square tube upper and lower control arms and braces,drag shocks,big U-joints.
    Everything new 12 bolt from Monzaz,welded tubes,33 spline axles,new posi,3:73 gears,drums,wheel cylinders,long studs,hardware,HD yoke,T/A cover,etc.
Skinnys on front,275/60 MT ET Streets on back.
Fuel cell, blue pump,1/2'' fuel line.Batt in trunk, shutoff on bumper.New aluminum radiator,Weld wheels, gauges, line lock, ratchet shifter with neutral safety hooked up, and more.Has the nice digital Buick radio with 6x9's.
Runs on pump gas,has run best E.T at LVD of 11.96,best 60' 1.61,best mph 111.20.Made somewhere around 100 passes or so since I've owned it and it does'nt skip a beat.
VERY,VERY,VERY,consistent car that is unbeleivably reliable on the street, does not change from 95 degree weather to 40 degree.Always runs 11.90's or 12.00's.160 t-stat,that is what the car stays at,period!!!You can drive this car in bumper to bumper traffic in July and not worry about overheating!!!!
It has a steel cowl scoop welded on an orig hood, the air cleaner goes up inside it when shut to take in outside air.
Also have some parts that go with car,2 new quarter panels, and rear wheel well moldings not on car.
The car needs the new quarters for metal work, but has real nice solid hood, fenders, doors, floors and trunk. So basically ,just the 1/4 panels need to be replaced, bodywork, and paint.Rad support and inner fenders are excellent.Actually, very clean eng bay.
Great street/strip car that runs rather well for whats in it,already built, turnkey,no new engine to fire up or work bugs out of,already tuned for you to just get in and drive at the track and on the street.Starts up and idles great, very responsive.

You know the time and money to build something like this,
    $7,500 firm
    PM me if interested.

    paul,
leveille's in somers just brought in a wrecked 69 special post car(canada). right front hit a tree(?). body from the door latch back is almost rust free. took a magnet to it, found no bondo. reason for crash....idiot puts on humungous rear sway bar and left the little front on it. real great for handling on the back roads. the car was listed on eastern ct craigslist.

Bump, offered it up here for the Buick crowd,on Racing junk now and ebay tonight. Can't beleive what this car has in it,11.90-12.00 car turn key with absolutely no problems and not so much as any interest or offers from any buick guys. Do I have to part this thing out ???????Would be a shame.

I'd love to help ya out, but that stupid money tree I planted still isnt growing!!:ball:

Seriously though, I've got more than that in just my motor, and its not really anything outragious. Im definitely a little surprised given that this is a solid car you can jump in and play with right outta the gate that you havent had any real serious prospects. Let me check my sofa cushions and Ill get back to ya!! (I wish...)

This is a great deal for the money but I think this is a good indicator of the condition most of our nation (and world) is in right now. :ball: Maybe keep it and see what the future holds?
