I believe the horn buttons and horn bars fit 64-66 wood steering wheels for the large Buick cars. Mine are repros, but very good. Horn bar is 304 stainless TIG welded. PM if you think I can help.

For those not aware, many aftermarket steering wheel manufacturers can supply a spacer that will allow a wheel with a flat base to be attached to a hub with the notch like the ones on our '70 and hubs up have.

Thank you. Im happy to learn about the “newer” Rivieras. I sell Buick Roadwheels (895) that fit newer Buicks. Never can be certain, but a remote chance something might “fit”.Appreciate your direction.

Pic of your 68 really makes me miss mine... I also removed my oem 68 wheel over the winter LOL. My horn button had 1 crack that was nearly invisible, don't recall who I got that from.

There’s a ‘65-‘66 wood wheel (1-piece spokes) on eBay right now and the seller says in the description that the 2-piece hub was the result of a government requirement for ‘67. Anyone ever heard this before? I know there were many changes mandated in ‘67 such as dual reservoir master cylinder, collapsing steering column, etc. but had not heard about steering wheels.

The Parts Place has updated the photo in their ad and it now shows BUICK on the part. Has anyone here purchased one? Does it fit and function as intended?

Not an exact reproduction, its missing the crack in the center:p:rolleyes:

I have two originals; both are cracked in the same spot.

upload_2024-3-11_8-23-15.jpeg upload_2024-3-11_8-23-15.jpeg The original steering wheel in my 66 Riviera. Still in good shape. Non heated garage, keep windows opened slightly. New England weather goes to the extremes. As long as out of direct sunlight, they will survive.
