They are pretty nice, the black part might need a paint touch up, but there's no pitting from what I can tell and no cracks in the metal.

I think these will work for a GS, but I think you have to modify them in some way.....:Do No:
How's $60 for the pair plus shipping? Did you need the backing plates or any of the small plastic bits behind them?

Whomever else is interested in parts off this car speak up. I know Bill wants it gone! It's getting stripped out this weekend in my driveway. I'm helping Bill with "getin R done".

The stuff will be ready to be boxed up by Bill shortly.

If you need it say something. I get crazy with the sawzall!

    Thanks!

Whatever is left will be on the next boat to China in a scrap container.

Exactly! you need a roof? you need A-pillars or window frames, need a transmission hump to mod with, or the top half of a fender (the lowers are rusted out) let us know, I would rather it go to good use saving another deserving Buick than get crushed or melted! :TU:

    Hi Bill;

I need a part of the the trunk latch bracket and part of the channel where the weather strip goes in, I'll show a picture and hope it makes sense.
If you can make out what I need with all the rust hopefully it will make sense.

Let me know if you need more information.

    Thanks Pete

    Pete,

Actually I just looked at that part of the car and that pieces looks good from what I can see. The weather strip would need to be scraped out to see if there are any rott holes below it. Depending on how the rest looks I was going to cut from quarter to quarter and at the bottom of the trunk floor. If the entire piece is good would you be interested in that?

I don't want to step on Bill's toes but I most likely will be working the sawzall!

6am tomorrow the fun begins. Hopefully Bill gets a good night sleep it's going to be close to 100 degrees here tomorrow.

    Thanks,

Is anyone interested in the frame? when we start chopping metal off tomorrow we'll check if it looks ok I'll keep it and post some pictures, if its trash we'll cut it up too.

Tonight after we finish! lots of pics to add just can't do them while I'm at work :af:

For those who have parts requested, I'll start with the first poster and work my way down, I do appologize if it takes me a while but I will get to you. I want these parts gone as much as you want them!

I've got lots of odds and ends from this car, so ask about anything (I have a whole bucket worth of unsorted bolts, nuts, etc....)

Also a HUGE HUGE HUGE thanks to Brian for helping me, and even allowing the work to be done in his driveway!:beers2::TU:

To help Bill out and answer the question..............nothing left of the trunk floor. But the tail panel was still nice. I didn't see any rott in the drip rail.

Bill has all of his parts at his house. We cut the entire panel off from end to end.

Pete, yea other than some surface rust that section looks good and will clean up well, I'll get some photos later tonight. Like Brian said we cut the last like 1/2 foot of the car right off if you needed more.

Al, what time where you thinking? PM or call me, I should be around this Saturday but may be out of the house.

Still working on getting photos of everything people asked for, 5 month old baby doesn't seem to think cleaning my garage out is very important. :pp

Rusty I have written down you were 2nd in line for the dash pad?

Adding pictures tonight of more of the asked about parts.

It also looks like a some of the window chrome will work for sportwagons, and the post chrome might even work for 64-65s.
If you live nearby or are in the area let me know if you want to stop by and rumage through the parts.
I've got door hinges (front ones work for 2-drs), manual window regulators, door and window handles, interior door panels are excellent other than the chrome trim sorta peela off but have real nice red bird skylark emblems and the cardboard isn't all mush or rotted), side glass all have that non-reproduced window sweeps on them, front vent windows are tinted and chrome is in decent driver shape.
the grill is still availalble, I have a set of 14" steel rims, sun visors are in great shape, cowl vent metal and the screen doesn't have many tears if any in it, also have a 14" spare rim painted blue with the original tire on it :Brow:

Ask about anything I haven't mentioned I'll check to see if it's floating around, we saved pretty much everything off this car. As I told my wife, I finally got it in the garage. :Dou:

no, it's sitting in my basement, i took some pictures lastnight, but haven't had a chance to up load them, you are 1st in line.

You'd asked about the whole set-up, did you want the radio, and speedometer as well? or just the metal dash bezel?
I also have pictures of the other items you asked about.

Dash pad is availalbe to next interested person.

Need pics and price on long dash bezel for non air with the dash control panel for heater/defroster,I do not need speedometer or radio.Info on the radio if it was working or not and condition of chrome radio bezel and a price;as I may be interested in it possibly. Also I am in no hurry if you or someone else in the area is coming to GS Nats it could save shipping costs would be great.

Pics forthcoming tonight, but i figured I'd toss some pricing out there.

Long dash bezel for non-air with heater controls- $200 (it still has instrument cluster attached in the pictures)

heater control panel has all the wires and those colored (red, Blue and green i think) plastic connectors at the ends -$30

AM Radio- it was't hooked up to the speaker when it was in the car, but you could turn the knob and it would light up all buttons worked. But I wouldnt' know how to test it. :Do No: $30?

I won't be going to the GS nats, but if you decide you like these parts we'll work something out.
