Hey guys, So I found a super solid 66' 4-dr roller for cheap that I'll be swapping the drivetrain from my '67 into. That said my '67 will be getting parted out sometime in the next couple weeks, and I wanted to get a head start on parting out some of the pieces. Right now all I'll I'm pulling off are non-essential exterior trim parts that I can get to without removing body panels as I need to drive this to where I'll be parting it out. All prices do not include shipping, I'm in Oswego, IL if it matters. To avoid any problems the only items for sale are what I list, but eventually everything but the engine, trans, hood, trunk lid, seat belts and arm rests are available. I'll be getting the 2nd car this sunday so If you're interested in something else let me know I'll jot it down and get back to you. I'll get pictures of individual items later today rear 1/4 Skylark emblems -$10/pair, or $6 each if you just need one Front wheel well trim moldings, some dents still pretty shiney- $150/pair Aluminum rocker panel and lower 1/4 trim, I think it's all there- $50/side Sapphire Blue fender skits with chrome trim -$100/pair
I also have a spare passenger side front fender that came off a '67 GS green in color, no big dents just some paint scrapes doesn't have the chrome vent, looks like the lower attaching bracket needs a bit of welding.- $125 Passenger side Inner fender from same GS car, passenger side some surface rust- $125 I'd prefer not to hassle with shipping these, but if you know of an easy way I don't mind trying to box these up. Pics tonight of these as well.
Congrats on your new 66! Hopefully it will be a better project for you. I'm interested in the jack holdown spring if you don't need it. Interested in the rearview mirror with post and blue plastic cover + trunk letters if decent. Might be interested in the steering wheel + dash pad depending on condition. Jot that down for me please or let me know.....Thanks!
thanks! will do, it does not have the jack hold down spring. I'll take some pics of those other items as well.
Bill, What kind of shape is the trunk lid in? Any major rust inside? If not, i'm interested. Also need the molded windshield washer hoses that go from the pump to the squirters. EDIT: I just reread your post and you said the trunk lid is not available? You do know that it won't work on a 66, right?
Nick, Yes I'm aware that it won't work on a 66. There is a member down in Florida that has extra 66 parts, and I may be trading the hood and deck lid from my 67, for his 66 parts. My parents live down in Miami 1/2 the year so if I can squeeze the parts into thier suburban I'll be doing that. If I can't work that out you're 2nd in line for the lid. It is excellent on the inside the outside is just faded I don't think there is any major rust. I'll pull the pump to nozzle lines out for you. -Bill- ---------- Post added at 10:09 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:01 AM ---------- rear 1/4 Skylark Emblems Steering wheel, it's pretty cracked up-$25 if you still want it? Dash pad this is in great shape, very pliable not crinkly at all, one small tear on passenger side- $150 Front wheel well trim, some dents but still usable Rear view mirror with plastic cover and post $35 ---------- Post added at 10:13 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:09 AM ---------- Rear fender skirts Interior roof light- $10 for the plastic lens, $20 for the lens and the fixture
I may be interested in dash chrome bezel and front w/o moldings. And taillamp housings with lens also.
Ok a weekend has been set, June 16th the '67 is getting parted out. I've made a list of everything people have asked for so far, and I'll try to keep anything that is usable the rest is getting scrapped. factory Tinted glass all around, anyone need metal sections for patches or anything? if there's anything on this car let me know if you're interested.
BigJoe is in line for the front window stainless trim (I'd offered it to him on another thread just adding it here as well) the big weekend is coming up, let me know your needs. I'll try to keep most of it for a month in case someone needs anything off this car.
I will check, there is another board member interested in the hood itself, I'm not sure if he wanted the spear and lettering as well. You're in line if he doesn't!
BIll, I want to get in line for the antenna assembly. I'll take a look at it when the car gets to my house for dismantaling. Thanks, Brian
Wiper arms look good, I'll jot ya down for them Bumper from what I remember doesn't have any big dents or major rust problems. there is a crack at the center point on the top that I'm thinking could be fixed. I'll get some close up pictures of both the bumper and wiper arms tonight. No problem.
Pics of some of the aformentioned parts: Antenna: Front Bumber: Hood letters: Trunk letters: I beleive mrolds is 1st inline for those. Wiper arms: Finitebidder, I may be using the turn signal lever for my 66. If I don't you're first inline.
Hi Bill; Your Head Light Bezel's look nicer than mine, they look like there the same as my GS. How much for the set? Thanks
