I have had a fun time putting this car back on the road, but i have other cars to chase. It was a barn find, not tabbed since '98 when i got it.111K on Wildcat 310,S/P T-300,P/S ,manual brakes,AM radio with rear speaker/fader(works)all stock until i put a new front swaybar on it,crane xri conversion, mallory cap & rotor, full tune-up with NGK plugs, msd black wires, rebuilt carb(by me),nos fuel pump, radiator hoses(had factory block heater element in lower).I have new KYB shocks for it & rear sway bar w/shim kit..not installed(weather sucked this year):Dou: New radial tires....i have other cars to drive before i die & allready have one of these:bglasses: From what i can tell,it is rust free,no ****.It does have some gray primer under the scratches on the quarters(very mild scratches),which is not factory primer. So count on some bodywork being done in the past, but looks good.HOWEVER,the doors close by pushing on them lightly...with a "click",same with the trunk lid and hood:TU: It was sold new in Spokane,& i bought it there as well.:TU: Any questions or pictures,no problem.I will admit,i bought it from an old time car dealer that sprayed the trunk(in gold, which i spackle painted)& he painted the side portholes black with a brush:Dou: The seats are redone in a funky cloth,i have a stock 2 tone front bench for it & 2 year old carpet from my convert i will install.Rear seat needs re-done as well as the package tray, which i also have, ready to install, new but re-dyed from blue to fawn.It runs, drives, stops, stears like a 40+ year old car.But i would drive it anywhere, bring tools just in case(dont you allways?):TU: BLOWOUT PRICE,RIGHT NOW $4750.00 this car is a quality driver IMHO

Ya know,on a side note...all us guys that have these cars look at each others & go "wow".We '64/65 guys need to have a meet at a place(but were so far away from each other, which makes me want Joe to drive his pink car):puzzled: Sorry Joe,but that was funny:Brow: some time....GSX get-together....bite me,64/65 guys rule:Brow::3gears:

Perhaps one of us could put a map on the wall, toss a dart towards it while blindfolded, and wherever said dart hits, "X" marks the spot for a meet.

BTW, I'm really wanting to save up enough moolah for a 65 convert, either a GS, or a nice Skylark that I could drop a 455 into. But it would have to be a droptop.

    Tom,i'm not sure how old you are...but,in years gone bye,120+ in a convert is a rush,stuped as hell,but a rush.I would never do it again,unless on a track:Brow:

Man I wish I could buy that car! In case you couldn't tell by my posts whenever a 65 comes up, I love 65's!
You don't want to take small monthly payments do you? I would figure out how to get to Usk this weekend. Haven't been to the bar there in.... nine years? It's only about 450 miles each way. I am talking about small payments now, nothing that will bump your tax bracket.
If you guys have a 64 - 65 get together, I will lurk on the outskirts with my 67 and lust after the cars. I need a 65 with a big block and a posi, only problem is I can't bring myself to sell anything to get there.

I would let my wife drive my 67 if I had a 65, well, I would let her drive it on special occasions, or when I wanted both cars in the same place!

Jamie, my body might be in its 50's, but my brain is stuck on 25. :Brow:

I haven't hit 120 in a convert, but when the needle hits triple digits, does it matter if it says 100, or 125. I did have my long gone 70 Road Runner vert up to 100+, with top down. My buddy thought I was nuts, but he had a huge grin on his face.

HEY GUYS!! when the "DARTS' begin to fly....I say, try to hit the FLORIDA REGION!! I would be willing to head up a special MID 60'S BUICK SHOW & TELL party here in the Tampa area. JANUARY is "National DEEP FREEZE month" in the north, but here, its cool in the mornings yet sunny, bright and warmer in the afternoons. A beach cruise with hundreds of 64,65, 66 & 67's lining the streets would be WAY-2-COOL!! We could have a cookout. Swap meet out of the trunks of our cars. and lets not forget the absolute greatest deep-fried, blackened or beer batter GROUPER samichs are just moments away from me here in Seminole...DAVES DOCKSIDE GRILLE on the beach, just ask GS John in Wisconsin!!! He'll agree with what I'm saying! Anyway, all you UP NORTH DEEP FREEZE VICTIMs need to be here in January cruisin in your mid 60s Buicks instead of sittin on your frozen butts in your heated garages dreamin of that first warm day of spring coming sometime in June!!! hehehe. Anyway, shall we think on these things? :Do No: I'm open for discussion! :TU: Wheelz, Tampa Bay

Hey MR T...I think I understand your predicament. You say your body is 50..but your brain is 25..so it was YOU that coined the phrase.... "HALF A BRAIN".:Brow: ...25 is half of 50...Ohh I get it now!! yea I know..I need help. :bglasses: Wheelz, Tampa Bay
