The car is currently in my shop.He has hired us to make some corrections.Overall this appears to have been pretty solid to start with.He owns 2 X's ,wants to sell 1 keep the other.Duane you are right about the stripes. However he would like the sheen corrected without a major redo.So they will still be in the place they are in.Does not look to bad for a supposed 10 yr old job.Joe:3gears: :3gears:

    Joe,
If you want one of the rubber grommets for the heater valve let me know. I think I only have 1 or 2 in stock at this time.

Making the corrections to the description or to the car? I don't see any changes to the auction and with this disclaimer, he may not feel he needs to "The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, effect or damage." I'm sure he's a nice guy and it's a nice car, but that's just scary.

    Donny,
Re-read my post"hired to make corrections" that would mean the car.Since that is what we do.I have nothing to do with e-bay ads for clients. If anyone is seriously in the market for this car,he would not mind me fielding questions for a legitimate buyer.thanks,Joe

I didn't see your other post, I was responding the the one I quoted which simply says the owner is making corrections. Now I got it. Thanks for straightening it out Joe.:TU:

No, problem Donny.Kinda felt like the guy was getting piled on.He more or less is a newbie to these cars. And I believe the rep he has selling this car will get filled in soon by the owner.Anyhow he is following this thread ,and I'm sure we'd all welcome a new member right?Joe:beer

    docgsx It's not a GTX

gas tank looks like it might be painted black. sticker near overflow tank on inner fender is incorrect as well. Not even close to the Palm Beech BJ car.

  8. Joe, I agree, the owner an his rep are both cars guys an, thru my emails an conversations, I picked up that they are straight forward. When I go to Cleveland this summer, I plan on looking them up an buying them a beer. Are you showing the car for them at Bowling green?

    Hi,
Rich,at this point he wants to correct as much as possible w/out really making a mess of alot of other things. What we have to remember is the car was done about 10 yrs ago(He does not know by who). And as anyone who knows anything about our cars ,the level to which we are now doing them has gone way above ,cars done even a decade ago. When you get to Cleveland give me a shout.Take care & talk to you soon.PS hows that black beauty? Joe:TU: :beers2:
