You can thank Dave for most of that. He won't let me do things half way. Dave is detail oriented and has taught me to take the time and do little things to make it better. We have had to make some concessions on doing some things because of time. I truly want to get this car to the start of the Hot Rod power tour so I can say a lot of things will still need to be done at a later time to the car but we (Mostly Dave) have done a lot to get this car on the road.
Took the GS out for its first drive today......... it was AWESOME . Dave and I got to drive the GS today and it was a blast. Getting the little bugs out of it but Dave has it well in control for sure. The orig exhaust has plenty of leaks lol but it sounds really good when you get on it.
I can't believe how good the paint is. Car looks amazing and you can tell it's going to sound fantastic once you get those leaks buttoned up.
Here is a pic of Bill and I. The car is awesome and you did a great job building it back in the 70’s. Such a cool car. I plan to enjoy it. Thank you Bill
He is doing great work! Get there early so you can drive the car in as far as you can. Try to pick up your credentials on Friday.
Definitely worth a note to Muscle Car magazine and see if they’d do a little feature on it. It deserves to be shared and the great story told.
Ryan, I will tell you this, the magazines like a car with a story as much as they like the car itself. Your car has both, the looks and the story. I know they are working on something and your car may fit into that perfectly. Send a few nice pics to my phone and I will see what I can do. Maybe include a paragraph or two of the story as well.
