This is my 70 Electra Limited. Repainted with original base color but added half a jar of white pearl to the 5 coats of hand buffed clear cloat. Factory interior and with alittle machine work shes putting down 385 horses out of that 455. :beer
I'm actually not sure what color that is. Originally it was diplomat blue but it was painted that mystery blue when we got it. It's kinda hard to tell from the picture but there is a little bit of metal flake in it which you can see when the light hits it right.

Johnno, That's a Riv color only for that year. Was there a "R" in front of the paint code? My 70 convertible has a paint code of R26 A. It's a Flint plant car.
Yup, Riv color specially ordered for the GS...one of 16 painted Azure Blue. Just 20 20 for the paint code. I wonder if it was a non Buick color if then they got the SCO tag?????? Came out of the Freemont plant.
I think if it was a non-GM color it was a SCO car. Not sure o No: There was 13 convertilbles with the Riv Stratomist Blue paint for '70. Just didn't know if the Flint cars had an "R" in front of the paint code o No:
Hey Jude! (I can hear the Beatles already  :TU: ). I've learned to ask the question when someone registers a '70 stage1 with Riviera paint. So far, all have replied that there is an 'R' in front of the cowl paint code. Maybe it was a FL1 Fisher Body plant thing? PS - You are correct with the SCO paint codes, but there is a 'twist'. If it wasn't available on the Buick color code chart (for all makes), it was an SCO. There is an SCO car in the registry with a window sticker (coupe) that states 'Opel Rallye Orange', a 'GM' color but not a Buick color. HTH, and all the best my friend :TU:
72 GS 350 Convertible I bought this GS almost a year ago. Its a 72 GS 350 Convertible and matching numbers with great paint and new top. Interior is great too. It started life as a Herritage Green / Bench seat car. Someone previous to me made the swap to red with buckets and floor shifter. Who ever made the change, did it the right way, you cannot see any green on this car. I only know it was green and a bench seat by the numbers on the tag on the cowl. I havnt done any exterior work on it. I fixed the hydrolic pump for the top. The engine was leaking from everywhere it could, so I put a complete gasket kit including front and rear main seals. A tranny rebuild was done also (I have a good friend that performed the tranny rebuild) My future plans are some interior stuff. Rechrome the dash, GS emblems for the door panels, I have an original radio too. It currently has the radio bezel cut for a CD player. ugh....
