When I was born, that's what my mom had. It was pale green with a dark green top, poverty caps, and no fake woodgrain; I bet she ordered AC. Car too had the button at the end of the turn signal stalk, but wasn't that for windshield washer control? I don't have pics of it, but I have it on DVD. After an accident when I was 6, she replaced it with a '79 LeMans Safari.
Windshield "one swipe" misty rain button, I think. I can't find my '72 Buick sales catalog to confirm what it is. Added in edit: Diego, look at the end of the GEAR SHIFT lever, not the turn signal stalk. Wiper Demand. There is also a separate pamphlet detailing the new feature. I can scan it if you want to see it Brad. It is a multi-function switch, you can press it down once or hold it down for two different actions. The wiper motor is specific to wiper demand vehicles and they can be pricey. Nice find Brad!

That thing is too cool. Each and every day i want a wagon a little more lol. Now was 70 the first year for the full size estate wagon or did they make them in late 60s also. I always see sportys for 68-69 but not full size. I always thought my 68 electra would have been cool as a wagon.
Dan, Buick has been making Estate Wagons (full size cars) since at least the 1940's. Google "Buick Estate Wagon" and see what shows up.
True enough....is hard enough here just to find a worthy and useable front clip (older) for same classic cars of that vintage. You know what....even my wife really wants one herself. She's a "car crazy cutie" she is. Prefers Buicks but hates being mistaken for a Chevelle, all too common, in a small town.
