Live in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Born and raised about a half hour drive east of here in a small town called Heward. Work at a GM dealership. Glad to be part of this "Buick" group of Canadians and Americans and everyone else in other countries. My 2 favorite cars are a 1970 Buick GSX and a 1987 Buick GNX.

Fort McMurray is my home but Regina Saskatchewan is where I grew up. Been in Alberta almost 20 years now.

Currently doing a frame of resto on a triple black 1964 Buick Electra convertible :)

Hi Sean, 68 Electra, 430 4bbl, 3 spd auto, dual exhaust with headers, power just about everything including power vent windows, but no A/C. It's an Oshawa car, I picked it up 4 years ago in Aurora, On., owner B4 me did the wide white -walls and wire-spoke Buick wheel covers. It's almost a show car, but more just a fun daily driver where so far everything works. Hope to get it more show quality as time permits. Come next Spring, will get paint and body-on redone. Needs carpeting redone, so hope that is next year also. You still have your 76 or doing mods?

Nice from you, sounds like a great ride! Be sure to let me know when you get some pics of the car after new paint!:kodak:

I actually sold my 76 a few months ago... I had to thin the herd. I also sold my 78 Skyhawk and two Skylarks.

I still have 22 Buick 350s here and the 75 Regal is an occasional driver. I also have a 70 Skylark that is undergoing a frame on resto right now. I have hired out most of the work as I work too much however I did build a KILLER Buick 350 for it using lots of nice parts like custom forged pistons, and custom forged rods. I am expecting about 400 HP NA and then some extra with 14 PSI of boost from twin turbochargers. The car has a bunch of new body panels, 6 point cro-mo roll cage, Moser 12 bolt rear built for 1200 HP, Th400 built for 1200 HP, etc. It should make a good street car. The rear end gearing is mild (3.42), the converter is not too loose, and the camshaft is very mild. I plan to drive it to the track, swap on the slicks, race, then drive back and checkout some cruise nights. Should be a lot of fun! Just waiting for paint to be completed then the windows go back in, interior, engine, etc. Lots of work left but steady progress.

I have also been working on writing a book about how to get the most out of SBB engines so that keeps me busy... Also watch for my upcoming articles about turbocharging in the spring Canadian Hot Rod Magazine.

66electrafied Just tossing in my nickel's worth

That is a very nice wedding picture; - where was it taken?

Looks like the Canadian Buick world is a small one; - I'm usually out at the Island every summer, and my car came from there... okay, it was actually from Lethbridge Alberta, but the dealer who originally owned it kept it at his summer house out on the Island.

Sean, sounds like your writing projects are keeping you quite busy. I write articles on old coins, but have been wanting to take a stab at writing in the vintage car scene too, part of the reason is because my other job is as an old car appraiser and I'd kind of like to drum up some business...any pointers on who to connect with?

I sent you a PM about the writing...

Yes, a 68 Chevelle SS 396 4 speed... car is a survivor, the paint is original as well as the black on the bottom. Not very fast compared to my Skylark but it looks nice LOL!
