Actually this is the first one John has done for a long time now. Hopefully we will have good turnout. There may also be a track rental on the 25th. If there is I will post the particulars here.
I guess since dave is going I will go too. We will be there with the skyhawk and the procharged skylark. Can't wait to finally make some passes
All set up and running just have to mount those new slicks and I'm set. Will be my first time out this year Can't wait should be a great time.:TU:
Would love to be there. My best friends son (who totaled my old Tahoe yesterday) is getting married that night. Will be the 1st Buick event I have missed in 5 years. (Shoot :spank: ) Musclepalooza manana. Ready, set, go.
I will be there and hopefully with my rims for my slicks ,i was there today on my street tires and it was a blistering mess for those who saw my 71 .todd
Todd, I saw you race, but once you got traction you barreled up the strip. Nice to see so many Buicks up there today
Not to hi-jack, but congrats to Paul Cassidy for winning Bracket 6 at Lebanon Valley yesterday during the Musclepalooza event! :TU: Also congrats to Dave Dudek for running a pair of 10.25's to set the FAST record-bar even higher. The fellow with the red 71 Boss 429 was right on his heels, running a 10.34 I think. Did anyone catch the final of FAST? One word of caution for you folks going to the Buick Day event -- if you leave LV and are heading back toward Albany, be careful of the first of 3 bridges that are under repair. The bridges have temporary stop lights for one-way traffic, and the traffic was backed-up almost to the top of a hill on the first bridge. My 03 Sierra had all 4 discs and the trailer brakes doing all they could to slow me down. Close call. I should have been going slower!
Yeah, Dave chopped that down to a 10.18@135 later. Bob Quigg took best Buick & best of show with his 70 GSX Stage 1 & Bob Christo took 2nd. in his GS455 4spd. Conv. Good day for Buick!!!!!!! Tom T.
