Wow! Nice find. I think that's the one that we would all like to find. They still exist, just got to be the lucky dog who finds them. Keeping an open eye for all things Buick pays off. Now.... If you happen to see some old yellow Skylark looking car, with a rear spoiler, say a 72, some black stripes, has that big block look to it, don't go near it, just in case it's not safe, just call me!
Paul, I am in NH and will be bringing home a 66 parts car this week. I will be cutting the quarters off for my 67. I won't need anything else on it. I am not sure how the rest of the car looks as far as the areas you need for patches, if you need them from an existing car or not. Let me know and I can grab some pictures, hell you can stop by if you like. Let me know. Tom
The car was sitting 5 miles from http://www.bunnyranch.net for 20 years. I'm surprised you didn't sniff the car out the last time you were here.
I'm a little furry, but my uncle has me beat by leaps and bounds. And here's the other car we picked up last weekend
Just out of curiousity which wide spot in Nevada did you find this car? I'd like to know how many times I've been close to it!!!:TU: :TU:
Dayton. But it was at the bottom of Six Mile Canyon Road coming out of Virginia City about a mile off of Route 50.
Been a few years since I was thru there hauling gypsum out of Carson City. Nice find, Nevada cars are usually pretty solid. Surprised Jimmy didnt find it!!! Are you hauling it back yourself? :TU: :TU:
I'm flying home Thursday. Hopefully I can get it transported by April or May. If not I might drive out on Route 80 pick it up, and take Route 40 home for a change of scenery.
I may be able to transport it if you are interested in doing so. Have a car to pickup on east coast, maybe we could help each other out. :TU:
That would be awesome. PM me your phone # and we can discuss it further. What's your timeline on coming east? And how far are you coming east?
