Dave (Copperheadgs1) and I were have a conversation about z bars and seals and thought I would post up what the rubber outer seal looks like for a 455 car. Its Gr 0.817 and part number 1369546. This is the frame side seal. If you look at the assembly manual, the 350 calls for the very common 3743360 felt seal. This would be a great part to repro.
The material itself is .095 thick. The outer diameter is 1.290 and the center hole is .500. Its .275 thick overall. I just happen to have my digital caliper on my deskp
Yes, if you look closely at the assembly manual diagram, the 455 cars took the rubber seal I posted the picture of and the 350 cars took the felt seal.

Check out Inline Tube's OLDS catalog. NOT the Buick catalog...there's not much in there. I have their very newest catalog, and they show what look like rubber Z-bar seals. There is one type for 69-71 and a different type for 72. There is also a rebuild kit. I think this is what you guys are looking for. I would find it hard to believe that an Olds bar and a Buick bar are different. Look at the pics..........
I have their catalog right in front of me. What your refering to are Z bar bushings, not seals. These are the Olds versions of the rubber bushing that presses in the upper arm of the Buick z bar. They do list a rebuild kit for a z bar, but it comes with a felt washer.
Jason, I think the Buick 455 used both the rubber and felt seals. That is what I get from the assembly mnaul page. When looking at the 455 diagram it says OTS as 350. The only part not used on the 455 is the inner washer.
