The L77 was the base engine for the Electra and the Estate Wagon, optional for only the LeSabre.

The regular Century could be upgraded with the L27 and L37 Pontiac build 301 V8, the Century wagon could be ordered with the 350 Chevrolet LM1.

What I am doing is a 350 into a skyhawk, thus I need a new window sticker and use of a 350 hjx buick motor, in place or "option" the 350 instead of the 3.8 which was the only motor this year, and car. But Buick should have made an offer of 350 in skyhawk. This is why I was hoping the century opt for a 350 real buick motor . Again this is why I need the L77 cost over a 3.8, can you help???

Only price I can find is the US$ 320.00 optional 350 engine for the Century wagon, but that's the Chevrolet LM1 engine.

The standard engine for the LeSabre was the 231 V6, and I see a price for the optional V8 (which is the L77) of US$ 371.00

    The 301 Pontiac engine was an US$ 195.00 (2 barrel) / US$ 255.00 (4 barrel) option for the Century.

That's all I can find out for this moment, I will search for my 1979 brochure to see if there's any info in it about optional engines and their pricing.

Thanks , I thought Lesabre was a std 350, surprise to me, that would have been most likely the same if Buick had offered it on the skyhawk, all I need now is the V08 hvy duty cooling price, if anyone else can find this over std cool, thanks craig
