worth buy this buick?

    OK Bama: The grille is a 1966 Lesabre. It is missing the "Lesabre" emblem on the drivers side of the grille...no biggeee. Mitch

    The picture of the engine clearly shows a 300-340 intake manifold, because the two center intake runners are tucked together in the middle. The exhaust manifold is not a 350 Buick, because the 350 exhaust manifold runners are tucked together in the middle.
    The HEI is just a points replacement.
    You have the correct engine for the car. Do lots of research before rebuilding it at a machine shop..
    I did a very simple ring and bearing job on a 340 and replaced the timing chain. I cleaned everything best I could and put a high volume oil pump kit in the oil pump. Ran good for years until I sold it.
