Are the battery and starter in good condition?

Original style starter? Those can get heat soaked pretty easily, especially with a big block and headers.

Max Damage I'm working on it!

More info would be good. What does it do? Does it crank, but no fire? Does it not do anything? Does it click but not crank?

    Too many possibilities.

Could be advanced too far... They will turn over really slow when they get hot.

    Cranks
    Got fire
    And getting gas
No start until after it cools off
Car runs fine while it's on
    Temp 180 200

    Could be a coil problem.

Timing set at 33 degrees and no vacuum advance

Coil is firing at hi temp

So let me get this straight, you say it cranks normal when fully up to temp and has spark & fuel but will not start?

    PS,
Buy the way, it would run cooler with vacuum advance.

So you are running constant timing? If it cranks at 33*, you probably have a crank retard? Could still be a coil that is breaking down when hot. It may still produce a spark, but maybe too weak.

    Battery location?
    Cable size?
    Ground locations?

Yes all the above and no start until the engine cools down
When vacuum advance is on it backs fire though the carburetor

I will try advancing the timing
What do u that is a good degree of timing
Also I'm running a stock distributor and coil

    You misunderstood what I asked.

    Battery
    Battery under the hood
Battery grounded to the engine and engine grounded to frame
Not sure of the cable size but normal size for battery cable

Are you running 33° of timing locked?
