I'm currently moving the power windows from my parts car over to my convertible. The sections of harness that run from the front door switchs to the under dash are brittle and cracking at the hinge pivot point. Is there a source for the proper colored wire and spade connectors? I'm plenty handy at electrical work I just need a source.
Additionally the boots that house the wire at the hinge area are pretty brittle is there a source for those?
    Thanks

I saw these items in my Year One catalog. Wiring harnesses are pricey so if you are good at finding the correct wire, stripping and installing it, why not do that yourself and save a bundle of $$$?

Yeah, I found the boots in the YO catalog, $59 a pair, steep but definately a necessary detail in my book, I've found a couple sites on the web (painless wiring for one) that sell a selection of wire colors so I think I'll be a spagetti master soon.

Also looking for a source for the spring lock spade connectors that are in the engine and lighting harness firewall connectors.
    Any ideas?

SOME of those spade connectors are still available at GM, but I don't have my p/n...my guy just lets me scrounge.....a freind of mine just ordered a bunch of stuff from an electrical supplier, but not sure I they are totally correct until they arrive. Will keep everyone updated.

Sure would be nice if a guy could order that stuff somehwere...the other tough one to find is those little round electrical "buttons" that swage on, wish I could find those too...the wire is the easy part, its getting the terminals to complete it all.
