Success for my buddies Mustang, not so much for me... The guy was very friendly and made short work of the 'Stang but I asked him about my F100 and he was not very helpful. Something along the lines of 'I don't know much about those old trucks' while putting glass in a '69 Mustang... But it's all good, he wasn't getting paid by me!
I went out today and messed with the trim, got the side pieces in but started on the bottom driver side and when I get 80% in the channel the curve in the trim starts to pull the seal off the glass..
I'm gonna try putting the curve side in first, see if that makes a difference.
I did call a friend who has a 'glass guy'. I'm going to call in a pro very soon, but for now off to work!

Can you find a factory service manual for your truck? There is probably an installation procedure it somewhere. I don't see that trim being installed before the glass is installed. I'm 99% sure that the trim makes the seal actually seal the glass to the body and glass.

Good idea! I've heard some older trucks did that exact thing to seal, but what about the ones with no trim at all?
I'm searching for a service manual as we speak!
