I need new window sweeps and/or felt kit for the front driver and passenger window.

Are the two door convertible doors/windows the same as those found on the 4 door sedan?

I ask because that’s all I can find for my 4 door sedan. While I’m at it, does anyone have a company they recommend for those components. Would like a complete kit for all four doors and windows if possible. Just unable to locate via google etc.

    Thanks in advance.

    dukec,

Yeah, that would’ve been some helpful information! Sorry ‘bout that.

It’s a 1970 Buick Electra 225 Custom, four door sedan.

I was kinda figuring that what’s out there may not be up to snuff. But may have to bite the bullet anyway and pick up what’s available.

Thanks for help or leads in nailing down any company that make decent or so-so replacements.

    Respectfully,

    Paul

I had Restoration Specialties out of PA build window sweeps for my 76 Electra four door. They did a really nice job. I did however, have 2 bad ones to send them so they could match them perfect. Quality was decent, they fit well, and still pliable after 2 years so far.

I bought a set of sweeps for my 2 door 69 wildcat from repops. They didn’t fit at all so contacted them and they asked me to send my old ones to them, in less than a week I had a new set.

    Quick Buick likes this.

    mazzy70 and racenu,

Thanks for the info. I’ll have to check ‘em out.

Glad someone’s out there giving it a try. Maybe with the originals you two provided, both companies can begin to consistently put out a quality fit product for others.

FYI, I didn’t use the supplied staples to reinstall, small short screws made the job quicker for me. Gordon
