Has anyone used the Wilwood, stock drum spindle disk brake conversion kit? If so any pro's or con's, I was considering it for my 70 GS 455. Thanks.

i helped install a willwood front disk brake conversion kit on my friends '67 mustang whic had drums all around. we installed a set of 17" "Eleanor" rims afterwards. the fit was perfect on the stock spindle. we had to fabricate the front brake lines.
    thus, a fairley easy install.

They are offering an 11inch rotor kit for GM A body cars. You can use your stock drum or disk spindles. Looks interesting and easy to install. I'll see if I get any more positive feedback. Thanks.

I got the front and rear wilwod disk brake kit for my 65 skylark. Installation was simple and easy, everything went in without a problem. the kit I got came with pre bent brake lines, whick fit really good.

Wow, that's nice! Is that the kit that uses the stock drum brake spindles?
