I'm new to Regals. Found this and wondering if it would work under an '85 Regal. Here's the description: Complete housing from drum to drum from a '72 Nova. 10 Bolt, 8.5" ring gear. These are getting hard to find. Turns freely, I haven't opened it up. Spring mounts are solid. Recently sandblasted the whole thing, epoxy primed it and painted it black. Fits all '67 to '69 Camaro and Firebirds (Same spring mount width), as well as Novas. Nova's have leaf springs, Regals have coils. So the answer is no, unless your up for some fabrication and welding.
