Will the Aeromotive tank with internal pump 71/72 application work in a 70 model? Currently removing fuel cell, external pump and cutting out all the brackets and really want a stock location tank. Car is a coat of many colors so originality means zero to me. Want a quieter fuel pump and stock location tank. Suggestions for a better option of tank with internal pump? Has to support I would guess 500-550 hp minimum.

    Thanks!

They have a tank for the 70,...it's the same as the 69 chevelle or cutlass can't remember,..but I have one here to put in my GSX,...I run Aeromotive in all our stuff and try to get it in as many customers cars as I can,...Brett at Aeromotive is a great guy and very helpful

The holley tank has a separate neck so it's flexible somewhat

I think the filler neck is different between 70 and the later tanks but it should fit

Filler neck is different between the 70 and 71-72. Due to the location of the license plate in the bumper.

Where does the filler neck point if you put a 71-2 tank in a 70?
    Thank you.

It will point at the Buick badge in the bumper. Way too high.
