Hi everyone. I need to know if a 455 will bolt directly to a turbo 350 tranny? My gs350 motor said ker-ker-kerplunk. The crank broke and went through the block. So now i have two 350s that need to be fixed. :ball: As the saying goes.....When in Rome..........I figure if im changing the motor, i might as well go with a big boy. :3gears: :TU: Anyway, if its not a direct bolt what kind of mods will i need. And perhaps someone might know where i can find a 455 on this sight? Or maybe someone has one for sale? And what is the expexcted price range? Thanx

    I got the fix

Here is a 100% Complete running and driving 455, 1973 AF with a TH 400.
You will need a couple items to convert to big block. POSTON frame pads and motor mounts, $100.00. May need driveline, which, is worth doing anyway. Good one $150.00. When you are good to go, just drop it in, wire it and gas it, starts on first crank! $800 plus shipping.

Frieght would be $200-$400 depending where you are.

This engine runs great, and was rebuilt a few years ago. You can see / hear it run if you want.

Yes, engine and transmission, $800.00. The AF is the BLOCK stamp, and Identification number specific to year and type of engine.

If you want to pursue this, PM (private message) your zip code that this would ship to, and I ca get a quote for frieght. But, it would be in the $300 dollar range.

I have converted several cars, and Steves post on the conversion details is right on. :TU: The parts are available.

If you still have the original number matching engine, save it! Really important for future resale value, as are all the parts you swap out to convert5 to big block.

Now, if you have never driven a 455, you are in for a real treat! :3gears:
