Does anyone know if a 60/40 Bench Seat out of a 1972 Electra will fit in a 1972 Riviera? Seems like these cars were about the same size - width wise.

    Thanks -- Terry :bglasses:

The seats will fit exactly if they are from an Electra coupe. Both cars use both the same bench and 60/40 seat frames, but if your Riv originally had just a bench, you will need to drill 4 additional holes to bolt down the 60/40's inner tracks.

I thank you much for the info. My Riviera had buckets seats originally, and I put a bench in it out of a 71 Riv that I had. Seems like the holes for the driver's side bucket might get me around drilling. Based on your feedback, I figure it's worth the drive to find out. The heat here has completely trashed the bench I have in it now. Thanks again for your help!

    Hey Terry,

The bucket seats mount in the same way, so you should be all set. I believe that inner mounting points will be studs on a reinforced plate. You're good to go. :TU:
