I'm looking for the seal between the wiper motor assembly and the firewall for a 70-72 GS, most likely other years will fit too. Its a round foam doughnut about 3" across. I checked YO and OPG - na-da.

I've seen them for Chevy cars at Classic Industries. Your description sounds just like these. They have an online catalog so you should be able to find it on their site:

That is a real nice site . I did not see it but I was looking pretty quickly and could have missed it. It is not in the OPG gasket kit either. I was going to make one. If you find a source please post it.

I just checked the part number and it is listed. Type in G11288 into the search box on the parts page. 59-75 Windshield Motor Gasket 2-11/16" x 5/16" O.D. $4.95

I've been buying from them lately and they've been great. I spent about $700+ with them in the past month. Only hiccup: I ordered some window cranks and 1 was wrong and 1 had a loose knob so when I asked about returning them, they said to keep them and they sent me 2 new ones. I never had a company do that before! :)

They recently had a 20% off sale but that just ended.

Thanks! Just ordered it - $12 shipped. Of course its back ordered....grrrrrr (something about a 20% off sale cleaned their shelves...)

    well finally

Actually that wasn't too bad - got the part delivered.

Classic Industries part number G11288 $4.95
    (59-69 wiper motor shroud gskt)
shipping $7.95 ( I hate when the shipping is more than the part...)

Genuine GM Part number 20489125 (try your local dealer!)

Here's a pic of the old and new seal. It looks to be exact replacement, fits the wiper motor great. :TU:
