My Tach stopped working in my 66 lark, its an orig. buick tach. Whose good at repairs or knows someone trust worthy enough to send this to for repair? I looked on line and found Instruments r us that specialize in tach and old guage repair. Trying to get things in order for tax money season!:TU:
Try looking in Hemmings - online or print - in the Services Offered section under instruments. You should be able to find someone who specializes in those sorts of items and you can probably call them first and get an estimate. See http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/query?adtype=servicesoffered&type=instruments
Bob's speedometer in Michigan can restore them. Has an ad in many car mags and I think also a web site. I sent one up there last year for an estimate, he wanted more to restore it than I thought it was worth but he said he could repair it. I just had them send it back and bought another at the GS Nationals swap meet last year. He did do a nice job rebuilding the speedometer in my '62 Electra a couple of years ago but they guy's not cheap.
