I'm looking at rear disc brake kits with parking brake. Specifically for the BOP 8.5 rear end. Any issues with the installation? Customer support? How do you like the results? Any comments?

Bill, take a look at speedway, they have some nice rear disc kits & there prices are very reasonable.

I was looking for the same thing before I was derailed with a rollover accident in another car.

I like the idea of the ones with the little drum brake inside the rotor hat that came off the late model Camaros.

With a 70 that has the external little valve beside the master cylinder, I thought I had just a junction block down on the frame. I became confused and didn't want to swap all the bits without being sure it would work.

If you get it working, I'd very much like to know what you went with.

I can supply you with rear conversions that use the cadillac calipers that has a provision for a parking brake cable connection for $575 shipped to your door. This comes with the parking cables also, brackets, hoses, rotors, cut rear axle lines. I also have all the other disc conversions too for the fronts, boosters, dual bleeder masters, proprotioning valves etc. For the $575 price you get the conversion, a disc/disc valve and new original material lines to complete the conversion. The lines include front brake lines, front to rear line and cut rear axle lines for the rear diff. All shipped to you from Ohio. Marcel.

I looked at the TSM site and if I read it correctly their prices are

$249 for brackets and rotors and hardware
    plus $120 for calipers
or $300 for calipers with parking brake cables
    and another $50 for hoses.

Add this all up and you at $599 with brake cables.

The kit I'm offering above has all of the parts listed above with calipers and cables, rear flex hose, rear axle line set cut for the rear (as Georges site shows), front to rear brake line, front line set and a correct valve for a disc/disc application. And shipped to your door for $575

For extra $ you can get drilled and slotted rotors and powder coated calipers and braided hoses.
