white strip hose

    does anyone know the size of the white stripped hose that connects to the heater valve?...ive looked everywhere.....i know its small

    I don't think any of the hoses were striped aside from the windshield washer hose, which was yellow.

    Can you post a picture?

    The heater control valve vacuum hose is white striped.

    That's a really small hose and yes, it's got a white stripe

    Where is it located?

    It goes to the vacuum canister on firewall I believe.

    I think it goes to the back of the heater controls.

    Non-AC cars don't have heater control valves, either, IIRC.

    Yeah Slater, it's an AC thing...you wouldn't understand :p

    yes its a white stripped hose that runs from the heater valve to the back of the heater controls it stops hot water from going to the heater core when the ac is on.size isnt listed anywhere however there are some places that sell different sized white stripped hose...i wanna make sure i get the right size

    ames pontiac sells 5/32 and 1/8 inch.....im thinking 1/8 inch....ill measure today and post results

    Be careful when ordering vacuum hose…pay attention to ID vs OD

    i.d. measures 1/8" and it looks like you would need about 3 ft to get er done.im ganna roll with that...post my results when it happens

    You will need 5. maybe a little more. I just measured 58" on one I have and I'm not sure it wasn't cut on engine side. I have a super nice (known) full length one around here, but, not available to measure right now.
