which one?

    some one who is very good with camshaft advise can you help me which cam will be good for a 72 centurion 455/bb i lack of camshaft selecting and knowledge.thanks

    I assume you wont be racing the Centroin? but than again you posted in the race section. I perfer TA's 212 for a mild ride and the 413 for the :3gears: wild ride.

    Generally with the big cars the TA 212 is a good choice as it is mild enough not to hurt the gas mileage but still has the ability to give a bit more juice when needed.

    i had a 455 in a 69 wildcat conv only mods were headers[tuff to fit] performer intake w old school ta 113 and it was a low 14 sec car and idled great

    go wild

    the 212 is a great choice or the 284-88H (alittle more torque)
    both make great lower end torque and should work fine with stock
    convertor and would take well to a slightly higher stall(1800-2000)
    without hurting milage or drivability :TU:
    if you really want wild try 13 to 1 compression, 308S solid cam,
    1050 dominator and a 9 in convertor.
