    northcorner Guess what I'm thinking..

Which JW flexplate should i get? They offer a lightweight one and a heavier one. This motor's going to be about 600 hp and a little more than that torque. The price is the same for either flexplate, i just wondered which one was best for me. Thanks for your input guys!! :beer

I was wondering the same question. What type are you guys with similar 600hp/600+TQ numbers running?

The JW site claims this about their flexplates:

"The heavy models smooth out engine idle with big cams, and offer harder launches and more rpms during the gear shifts. The light weight flywheel models allow for faster turbo spool up and improved engine acceleration, and deceleration for street, circle track and road race applications. The light weight models are generally 2 pounds lighter than the same part number heavy version."

    :Do No:

Thanks for the reply's guys. I ended up going another direction and got a TA sfi flexplate. Time will tell if it's the right move or not.
