I didn't know what section to put this in, but I was wondering where I can find a replacement "sock" filter that goes over the sending unit in the gas tank for a '70 GS 350. I know Year One has them, but it cost more to ship it then the actual filter costs. Does anybody know of another place that sells them? Mike
fuel sock mike : i had my gas tank guy upgrade my 65 5/16 sender up to 3/8 and he gave me a gm part# to try - #5651711 . it was a little longer than the stock one but fit in ok , slipped in the 3/8 line nice and tight , it felt like it might have contacted the bottom of the tank a little ( extra length ) but i don't think that should cause a problem . so unless you live on the moon that should be easy enough to get . del
