I know this question has been brought up time and time again here, but I looked both on the dash and in the door sills and cannot find the VIN tag. Is it located differently on the '65 Skylarks?? Help, I've had a brain-fart! ou:
It should be located on the drivers side beteween or near the door hinges, on the car body. It should be riveted vertically, meaning you need to turn your head sideways to read it. There is also a firewall tag which will give build date, fisher body number etc. but not the VIN. This should be located next to or above the windshield wiper motor on the drivers side.
