hi, i bought this from the parts place,i wanna convert my 67 gs to front disc brakes, and this is what the guy told me i needed. where does it mount? do i still have to change the valve on the frame?? does anyone have a picture of this installed in there car? thanks Michael
I have one on each one of my original 4 piston calipers. It is not exactly same though. The large threaded part is for the flex line and a hard line goes into the other side where that black plug is. My line is about 4" long that goes into the lower side in the front of the caliper. The bracket is how it mounts on the caliper. I could be wrong. But it sure looks similar. Ray
That is the hold-off valve. Mounts to the master cylinder stud on the brake booster. You will need to get new lines from the master to the hold-off and then from the hold-off to the distribution valve on the frame rail. You can get all the lines you need new from www.inlinetube.com
