I know I ask a lot of questions. That is mainly because I very rarely know what I am doing.

Thanks to all who helped me get the starter relay mess worked out. My next move will be brakes - whoever owned my car before me took away the vacuum line from the power booster, leaving me no clue where it goes. I know it needs a pretty good vacuum source, I would assume manifold or base of carb vacuum, but there is also a large vacuum cannister with nothing attached to it on the fender well.

So, where do the non-existent vacuum lines go? lol

You are correct, power booster either goes to large port on rear of carb base, or in manifold.

A cannister usually hooks to a small port on carb, or manifold. If you can find an assembly manual for your car, it would be a big help. Or maybe somebody that has one could scan the vacuum diagram for you.

I could be mistaken, but I think that diagram is just for the windshield washers.

My bad, I did not look at that in detail. The attached pics are from my car, which I think are original, but I am not positive. The line with the pink ribbon is from the bottom of the vacuum canister and it goes to the power brake unit. The pic with my hand is the line that tees off the power brake unit and ties into the intake manifold. Hope these help more than my last post.
