I'm looking to purchase the oil passage modification kit that connects the two upper oil galley passages to each other via a pair of fittings that screw into where the galley plugs normally go and then the fittings ar connected by a u-shaped piece or tubing. I want to install this on a 350. I have seen a few 455's with them but not a 350. Are they the same and who do I get one from?

I believe this is considered to be an obsolete modification that is no longer recommened.

No longer recommended-really? Is that due to the potential oil volume or pressure issues in the valvetrain? And is this also true for the 455 as well?

I would not bother doing that on a 350, the oiling system works fine....
