A race would take 3 days because refueling would take 4 to 6 hrs lol

Tracks like Talladega will require resistor plate racing :D

I watched those open wheel electric cars and they all have the same power I hardly see any passing Actually none, and all the engine does is make a high winding sound? YECH !! The winner is the one that does not run out of electric WOW that sounds exciting don't it?
I would rather any day listen to 750 hp of cam shafted madness than some winy electric motor. Don't care how fast it is out of the hole, it sounds like crap (insert turd here)

I have to admit that I now watch NASCAR (National Association of Spec Car Racing) for the accidents. These cars have nothing to do with stock cars. Going to the single-nut wheels on the cup cars was the last straw. NASCAR does not have a single division where they race cars or trucks that races anything that could legitimately be called a stock car.

I remember back in the 70’s racing your big rig was popular, all the truck movies boosted popularity of ‘em.
Guess they put a stop to it cause the tires weren’t rated for the sidewall loading they were experiencing on the banked turns, plus drivers were taking their companies truck to race, not their own.

Somehow, when you say Nascar and Electric in the same thought, my mind went to full size slot car racing. Never need to stop for fuel, just don't jump the track. Okay, I admit, I'm a big kid at heart. My Granddaughter told her Grade 1 class her "Gampy" is silly.

Stay away from 1.21 Gigawatts or you might find yourself at Rockingham between Buddy Baker and Coo Coo Marlin.

It will never happen. My brother took his CT5v Blackwing to one of those open track days where you do a few laps with a pro then you get to beat on your car by yourself for 3-15 minute sessions. Anyway he saw no electric (super cars) so he asked about them. He was told they never get any there because when you drive them that hard they over heat VERY quickly. The pro didn’t think a Tesla Plaid would make it 2 laps.
