Wheel lug bolt pattern question

is the bolt pattern the same on a 56 buick as a 39 buick? thanks

 

any one any idea?

 

I believe that all Buick cars for both years were 5x5 (and everything in between)

 

The 56 is 5x5 but not too many of us have those golden oldie 39s.
If you go to Tire Rack's web site they have a good section on how to measure, if you the 39 wheel.

 

The bolt pattern is 5x5 but the center hole in older Buicks is 3 1/4" while most wheels are 3" inches.
