Another view, if it helps. And I guess your probably right. So what did the guy do, customize the 67 covers to fit the wrong seats?o No: -- Steve
I don't think that is a '67 seat. It looks a bit older with those chrome trim bars. Is there a side release button, and metal backs? My guess is the guy tried to mimmick the '67 seats on older frames.
"Looks to me like a 67 seat cover pattern on a 64/65 seat." That is exactly what it is. So in reality it is not correct for anything. Duane
Bummer. I want black buckets for a 67, he wants my black bench for a 67. I kinda doubt that I could strip those covers off and put them on some correct (but split & torn) seats that I have lying around, eh? Those covers must have been stretched, trimmed, whatever, right? Just looking for a cheaper way out than $$$ new covers. -- Steve.
Steve, There is NO WAY you could take those covers off and install them on the correct seat frames. You would be throwing your money away. You would be much better off getting the correct covers and recovering the seats you have. Duane
I have some 66 bucket seats with new 66 OPGI covers that I'm not going use. Let me know if you are interested. BTW I'm local. I just posted the seat upholstery in the classified section. http://www.v8buick.com/vbclassified.php?do=ad&id=1684 Scott
Scott -- Still got those covers? I decided not to use them, but I know someone who might be interested. Has a 66 that is gonna need them. -- Steve
