I have a set of dog dish type hub caps off of a 62-63 and need to know what rims you guys are using. I'm looking for a 15 X 8 with 4.5 inch backspace. Stockton Wheel wants 187.50 with a trim ring and 20.00 for shipping. 415.00 is a lot of money for 2 black wheels with trim rings. Is there a cheaper way? BTW Stockton says that since the hubcaps don't have the three "bumps" that they need clips added to the wheel to retain the cap. Are stock type wheels available with the retaining clips? Where did you guys get yours? All info is appreciated!
what kind of hubcaps are these? will they not fit a 'chevy' style wheel that many people make, or are you just looking for something different?
I am not sure what they will fit. On another board, wheels with JT near the valve stem hole were mentioned. I just want a regular steel wheel that I can use with the hub caps and a trim ring.
