I am putting together my 72 GS455 4 speed. The engine will have 500hp and 550 lbs torque. I am running the stock 3.42 gears. The car will be 99% street but with a pretty heavy foot when need be. I have a new Valeo 11" pressure plate # 5505 that I got with another car. I do not know anything about this clutch. Is it good enough or should I purchase this Center force kit? Or any other suggestions?

I always use CenterForce stuff. It has light pedal pressure.

My car has the CenterForce II clutch in it now. For a street car, it is great.

You may want to step up to their dual friction model.

I have two with the Centerforce Dual Friction. Great clutch but with light pedal pressure.

Hi Jim, is this the same one that I posted from Summit?
    Thanks

I am also using the Centerforce Dual Friction with no problems and it gets its fair share of abuse from me.

I did not look and I am not sure I would remember the model number. I did buy one from Summit but it has been seveal years back. You need to get their throw out bearing also.
