I am starting to plan a rebuild of my car that was damaged by fire. Originally, my lesabre had a warmed 350 and a built 700R. I have decided to go with a 455 from TA Performance, but I do want do go with something a little different with the trans. I want to go with a T56 and from research that I have done so far, I've found a company that builds the T56 to mount to the BOP engine. This version of the T56 is suppossedly the best route for the BOP considering the ability to handle loads of torque.

My question is should I go with a pedal assembly from a LS1 or LT1 camaro/firebird and if so, what other parts are needed for the conversion?

    Thanks for the help.

Seeing your car was never available with a manual trans, fitting mechanical clutch actuation linkage, if you could find/make something that'd fit, would be a major chore. Go with a hydraulic system, either scavenged from another car and/or put together from multiple sources. I'm in that process right now with my '71 Riv. Search this site for the multiple threads dealing with this topic.
