I am looking for the piece of card board like material that goes between the rear side window and the rear window in a 1970 GS. It is the area where the courtesy light is located. I can't search for one because I don't know what it is called. Can some one point me in the right direction????? Thanks Jim
Does any one make a reproduction sail panel? I just looked in my CARS catalog and didn't see anything. Jim
I just checked The Parts Place and Legendary. My searches didn't turn up any matches. Can I buy the material in bulk and cut it to fit? As you can tell I am new to this. Jim ray:
Just to clarify, the sail panels that are part of the interior are ok. There is a backer panel/sound proofing board behind that is deteriorated. Jim
or the actual sail panel piece https://www.opgi.com/skylark/1970/interior-accessories/headliner-accessories/S210124/
Yes it is the insulation panel not the interior part with the material glued to it. I did find the interior parts. When I get back over to my car I will post a picture. Thanks for the replies. Jim
This is the part I need. It goes behind the interior sail panel. Can I buy one or do I need to make one out of Dynamat?
