What year and what motor can I pull a Dist from, and use in my skylark. Is there anything I need to know about before I do this?

75 and up Buick 350. You can find them in the Lesabres, Century/Regal, and some Apollo/Skylarks. You can also use the same year 455 HEI,but you'll have to change the distributor gear(350 uses a 14 tooth, 455 uses a 13 tooth). The HEI needs full time 12 volts. If you currently have a points distributor, you need to change out the resistance wire in line with the + side of the coil. This has been discussed on the BB many times. Do a search, you should come up with plenty of threads. Keep in mind the advance curve may not be optimal for your setup.
