what heads are these?

I have a guy that wants to sell a 455. I haven't seen the block yet but the heads have the following number on them. 1238148. Does any one know what year these are from? Thanks

Thanks every one for your replies. I have been looking for a 455 for 2 months when I finally spent the money to have my 350 imporved upon. Heads got the full treatment from PAE. Not one day after I got the heads back this guy at the parts store asks me if I want to buy a 455 from him. He says it's not totally complete. I think he is missing the rods. Any way he has a new edlebrock intake manifold for it and only want $200 for every thing he has. I was planning to buy it but wanted to know what year it was first. He said he would get me the numbers off the block today so I can see if the heads and block match. Is there any thing I should look for? Thanks again every one especially Kerry for the pictures.

For $200 and it includes an Edlebrock intake....I say go for it!:TU:

The casting number for the block will be in the back of the engine on the top between the two top transmission bolts. The casting numbers for the heads are under the valve covers.

Here's a sample of where to find the casting numbers on the heads. These are '72 heads...
